Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations" (Matthew 28:19). At Copperfield Bible Church, we support international missions in fulfillment of the Great Commission.

We encourage individuals to realize the mission field around them, in the sphere of friends, family, and co-workers. Most often, God has brought people into our lives that need the saving message of Jesus Christ. It is important not only to proclaim the Gospel, but to live our lives in such a way that it does not contradict the message we are proclaiming.

We realize that everyone is not given the giftedness to be a full-time missionary. However, it is our joy and privilege to play a part in the prayerful and financial support of those who do. At the current time, we support three missionary families. Each of these precious families will be highlighted below.
Rich and Paula Barnds

Rich and Paula Barnds have been serving as missionaries for 18 years. Their first two assignments were in Austria and Croatia. Most recently, they have transitioned to Littleport, England, where they will be involved in church restoration.

Rich and Paula serve with Biblical Ministries Worldwide.
Jamie and Tammy Miller

Jamie and Tammy are the proud parents of three boys: Colton, Parker, and Breck. It is a pleasure to see such a commitment from such a young family. Tammy is the daughter of Greg and Dawn Sanford, who are also supported by CBC (see below).

Jamie and Tammy are currently in South America. They are seeking to establish and build relationships with a particular people group with the intention of sharing the Gospel with them and seeing a mature church established. This is an arduous task, and they would appreciate your prayers in their behalf.
CareNet Pregnancy Center of Northwest Houston

This local ministry is about promoting life, both physical and spiritual.  CareNet seeks to educate individuals about the value of human life, thus providing options for those facing an unplanned pregnancy.  But CareNet does more than just provide physical education; they proclaim the saving message of Jesus Christ!  It is always exciting to hear updates of how God is using this ministry in our local community.

Outreach

On a local church level, we have regular outreach events that provide us with opportunities to proclaim the Gospel to our surrounding neighborhoods. It is our joy to be faithful in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to unbelievers and trusting God to do His work through His Word.

As the apostle Paul says in the book of 1 Corinthians, " What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. 7 So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building." (3:5-9, NASV).
