Music
"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord" (Psalm 150:6). The focus of our music ministry is to worship God and edify the believers. We do this primarily through hymns and choruses, many of which are the Word of God to music.
The Biblical warrant for music is a mixture of "psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs" (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16). It is not an issue of hymns vs. choruses. The sacred Scriptures inform us to incorporate a variety of musical selections that cause us to worship God.
We also have an orchestra which provides another means for individuals to offer talents and abilities for the glory of God. In addition to the piano and organ, various individuals can be found playing a flute, violin, or trumpet. If you are interested in playing an instrument, please see Phil Boyd.
